MLAA Products

The MLAA has developed a range of innovative locking systems which are only available through accredited, licensed Master Locksmith members.

Binary Plus

This is a unique, patented locking system which provides an extra level of security for your family, your home or your business.  It uses an in-line six pin cylinder with a unique system of side springs and traps to provide extra security and prevent manipulation.  100% desgned and manufactured in Australia, Binary Plus is distributed under licence to a select group of  Master Locksmiths who meet the MLAA's high standards of workmanship and professionalism. They are the only locksmiths authorised to supply Binary Plus products and duplicate your keys.

The Binary Plus key is made of thicker material than normal and has a distinctive head design with the licensees identification stamped thereon.  This provides added security against unauthorised duplication.

The Master Locksmiths Association owns the Australian, New Zealand and international patents for this system.  The original  profiles which were released are protected until 2013 but other profiles were progressively released and they are protected until 2018.

ECKey - Turn your phone into a key

ECKey is a Bluetooth based unit that is installed next to your electric lock.  Once your phone registers with the ECKey unit its mere presence will unlock the door.  You don't even need to remove your phone from your pocket or bag. No more fumbling for keys in the rain or when you're loaded with parcels.

Up to 20 phones can be registered to activate the unit.  Registration is only necessary once.  The unit can be set to activate within a specified range of 1 - 30 metres.

ECKey is a New Zealand invention which was recently selected as one of five finalists for "access control product of the year" at the prestigious IFSEC security awards in Britain, where the Bluetooth locks will also go on sale next month.

The Master Locksmiths Association has exclusive distribution rights for the product in Australia and New Zealand.
